Dr Zoe Laughlin, of University College London’s Institute of Making, tested spoons made of seven materials – gold, silver, stainless steel, zinc, copper, tin and chrome.
This is a nice looking set of cutlery with a leaf motif on the handles. It’s called Blossom Sand and is made by Cambridge Silversmiths. But don’t be confused by the manufacture’s name, it’s made of brushed finish stainless steel and not silver. Be wary that not all silverware is silver.

My Sister sent me this photo and it was captioned “Silverware by Tim Burton, available at Macys”. But a little quick googling showed that it’s not Tim Burton but Isaïe Bloch who created this 3D printed flatware masterpiece. And you can buy a printed copy of each piece from his store for about 250 euros each.
