Apple’s recent success with the golden Iphone has brought attenti0n to people’s love of all things that glitter. But gold cutlery? Sure, why not. “Rocco” by Herdmar is actually 18/10 stainless steel with a matte gold finish. It’s dishwasher safe and won’t need polishing. But you will polish it, you know you’ll polish it. It’s gold! It has to be at it’s shiniest!
Carrying your own cutlery surprises people. Especially at the office where it gets a strange look and then a light goes on over their head. It is actually a good idea is what they realize. There is the benefit of hygiene but even more important is that you have the exact implement you need for what you need it for. These look pretty good and the case with lid would be pretty handy.
We are back and very glad to be here. You may have seen some of these posts under Luckyspoon.com but we’ve moved to new digs and a new design. More detailed, colorful, interesting and regular posts are coming up. Anything and everything new and cool about the wonderful world of cutlery. There is still some spackling and a few spots of paint needed around the site, so please be patient as we clean things up around here. And welcome to our new home!
A nice simple product for the college student moving into their first tiny little apartment with a tiny little kitchen. It’s a simple setting for four, nothing fancy and forces them to stay on top of washing the dishes. Speaking of which, the satin polish means no polishing required. They call it brushed or satin, all these descriptions get confusing. It short, it’s not shiny shine. And a 25 year limited warranty is nice considering the practical price.
PS – To the student that receives this as a gift, the salad fork is for eating salad. So eat your greens!
