I’ve been watching this product come together since it was announced as a Kickstarter project and now it’s available for public sale.
This cunning cutlery is a stainless steel teaspoon that is shaped as a skull. It means you might need 3 instead of 2 spoons of sugar for your tea, but it is all about form not function. It measures 15 x 3.2 x 1.4 cm and I’d suggest you get two as someone will certainly steal your first one.
The concept of this spoon makes so much sense to me. For baking especially this spoon makes measuring small amounts much easier. If you need 60 ounces then you take 6 ten ounces scoops. Just some basic math and you don’t need a full size scale to get the right weight. And don’t get me started on why American uses volume instead of weight in baking!
This cool digital spoon scale from Admetior measures in ounces (oz) and grams (g) both, up to 10-ounces per scoop. It will do the math for you up to 105 ounces using the Accumulative feature.
The scoop is detachable for easy cleaning.
It also has a “Hold and Tare” function. Pressing the Tare button will reset the displayed weight on the scale back to zero. The Tare button can also be used to measure multiple items in the same container. Simply add you first item, note the weight, press Tare and you are ready to weigh your next item. Good for mixing different spice in the spoon to one final weight.

Great for using in non-stick cookware (to avoid metal scratching the Teflon). I would treat them with some food safe oil and keep them out of the dishwasher so they continue rocking for years to come.
Well this is a clever bit of cutlery design. This spoon is made of stainless steel and features a longer 5.5 inch handle to reach into deeper jars of honey or jam. Then once you’ve mixed the honey into your tea the spoon has a handy little bend in it to rest on the edge of your cup or the jam jar. And it needn’t be just a spoon for honey or jam, it would be handy for spices and other baking ingredients.
I’ll admit it’s a weird looking spoon but a useful bit of flatware.
