Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. If we wish to make the cutlery rounder, we will make it rounder. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. We control your cutlery.
Weird huh!? The guys over at Object Rights have designed this rounded flatware. Every knife, fork and spoon is fit to the circle of your plate.
“Curved Flatware” is a set of eating utensils. Ergonomic design helps to reduce wrist pressure.
Materials: 3d printed steel, bronzed finish, hand-polished Dimensions (each): Width- 5 cm (2”) Height- 2.5 cm (1”) Depth- 19 cm (7-½”)
It’s $300 for a 4 piece set but it looks amazing, not sure how it handles though?
Hee hee. Sorry, had to giggle at typing the post heading “fits small drawers”. More coffee and I will adult better.
This is a problem we’ve run into more than once at The Cutlery Review. Whether it’s RV, tiny kitchens, secondary cutlery drawers, summer kitchens or sideboards. There always seems to be that drawer that would be great to hold a small selection of forks, knives and spoons but it’s the wrong dam size! This flatware don’t fit!
In comes the Camco Adjustable Cutlery Tray. It adjusts from 9″ to 13″ width , 11″ long and is 1.75″ tall. And it’s made of white durable plastic. Seems to fit?
There have been a lot of requests to us for more info on this product. We’ve found a bit more…
In Food Courts, Buffets and Cafeterias there are usually an open tray or bins of cutlery for you to take what you need. Sometimes there is an issue with contamination with the dirty hands of the public grabbing in that bin of forks, knives and spoons. Many times there is a problem of people taking extra cutlery home with them (it’s more common than you think).
In comes the Dixie® SmartStock® Cutlery Dispenser which automatically dispenses pre-counted and pre-assembled cutlery packages. It dispenses prewrapped Dixie brand disposable plastic recyclable cutlery.
Sadly this seems to be only in prototype and testing stage but it’s still amazing. We are impressed not only by the time and effort but the care and attention to the design for those with special needs. This project Eatsy Tableware deserves the support.
“Eatsy is a set of multi-functional tableware consisting of a plate, bowl, cup, and utensils. Each of them has a unique feature with subtle details that avoid stigmatization. They are universal, applicable for children, elderly and even people without special needs. Eatsy is user-friendly for both left and right-handed users, and they can be stacked up for easy storage.”
Not just a fork, knife and spoon but amazingly designed plates, bowls and cups to help. In particular the Eatsy plates allow the visually impaired to easily scoop the trapped food up with a spoon. The best way to corner those pesky peas you are chasing around the plate. And the cutlery is hooked on the sides of the plate to prevent slippage! Genius!
