The Professional Coffee Cupping Spoon? Who knew? Who knew it existed? Who knew I would need to buy this for my Uncle the coffee freak. I wouldn’t say this is single purpose cutlery though, it could be used in the kitchen for many other purposes. Including some serious soup or gravy work.

Twirling Spaghetti Fork

There has been a flurry of activity on the Internets this past week about the twirling spaghetti fork. There are many styles and types of spaghetti forks out there so we will take a look at a few choices…

The manually operated Donkey Blue Rolognese – Wooden Twirling Spaghetti Fork is from a German company and seems to be focused on children. But a very simple design made of sustainable wood and stainless steel makes it seem very practical.

The PK Twirling Spaghetti Fork is battery powered and got the most attention on the Internets. This powered cutlery requires two AAA batteries and they claim dishwasher safe, but we’d take out the batteries first.

And last but not least and our favorite solution is the For-Ghetti Spaghetti Fork from the Rehabilitation Advantage Store. This simple design requires no cranks or batteries. It’s genius design is four specially-designed nubs on each of the outer tines to catch and hold the spaghetti in place. This is function over form design in flatware.

So the Tiny or Mini whisk seems to be a popular choice for kitchen cutlery by these two fine gents.

But….we here at The Cutlery Review recommend the flat whisk. It fits flat pans better, it will conform to any bowl, and it just seems work better. Amazing for cooking salsas! Try it for yourself.

Camco Adjustable Cutlery Tray – Fits RV & small drawers!

Hee hee. Sorry, had to giggle at typing the post heading “fits small drawers”. More coffee and I will adult better.

This is a problem we’ve run into more than once at The Cutlery Review. Whether it’s RV, tiny kitchens, secondary cutlery drawers, summer kitchens or sideboards. There always seems to be that drawer that would be great to hold a small selection of forks, knives and spoons but it’s the wrong dam size! This flatware don’t fit!

In comes the Camco Adjustable Cutlery Tray. It adjusts from 9″ to 13″ width , 11″ long and is 1.75″ tall. And it’s made of white durable plastic. Seems to fit?
