      1. I ordered 2 sets 11 days ago. Can’t find any reviews, good or bad, so I took a chance. I just sent an email to find out when my order will ship as their website says they normally ship the next day.

        1. Hi Debra, sounds too good to be true. I almost bought from SDD just now too. Can you please post a follow up or please please please

        2. Hi Debra, sounds too good to be true. I almost bought from SDD just now too. Can you please post a follow up please. At the end of the day $50.00 per set for a good replica is still not cheap if you wanted a set of 6 . But I’m curious about the quality and frankly, the wording on the site seemed a tad sketchy. Thank you

          1. I would like to know if the ssdtrade.com website sent the package or you received a reply from the website.

        3. Keep me updated on the outcome please! Would love the set but just as sketched out as everyone else. I’ve also not received any emails after signing up for the “10% new customer discount”

        4. Hi Debra: If you ordered 11 days prior to your March 31 entry, that means it has been about a month ago. Any word from them yet? Should we all now assume this is a scam?

      2. I bought four sets at a higher price, but got a quantity discount that brought the price down to $50 a set. The ads were all over my timeline for a bit, until I mentioned that when I bought my four sets, there were only “53” sets left, but when I looked the next day, there were only 75 set left. At that point, the ads stopped appearing in my timeline. I filed a claim with PayPal immediately and got my money back.
The problem is I love the designs so much, I’m really curious as to the quality of the pieces. Tempted to buy one set. Gonna wait to hear what they are really like.

    1. Just received the four sets we ordered from SDD trade. they look kind of nice. They came from China.

They are replicas and they are not signed or dated. Not sure what they are made of. Probably should not waste your money. They are definitely not what was advertised

  1. I decided to take a chance too and placed an order on March 27. No communication from seller since, despite my repeated efforts. Don’t yet know how this will turn out, but “buyer beware” might be in order here.

  2. I ordered, because worth the $loss and changed passwords if they were real copies. Transaction looked real and PayPal info looked real, even a receipt from PayPal, but the charge has not shown up as a transaction on PayPal or in real life. They were sent the $’s and there has been nothing suspicious since then on my PayPal card, or my PayPal account. BUT I did receive a slew of fake/phishing paypal e-mails immediately after!!! Will have to try tracking # they sent again. I still hold the slightest glimmer of hope that they will show up!

  4. I’ve got bad (but perhaps expected) news for you all. I stupidly ordered 6 sets of these. They just arrived today, and they are a sad joke. They are very cheap Chinese pieces, and they are not actual, useable (though odd) silverware; the pieces measure 2.75″ long (the shortest piece) to 4.75″ for the tallest piece. The detail is cheap and terrible. They’re made with some very cheap gold colored metal. If I’d seen these in a store, I would never have given them a second look. Absolutely AWFUL!!! I’ve emailed the seller, demanding a refund. But expect I will have to file a complaint with PayPal, and am not sure PayPal will really help. So sad!

    1. I had posted previously about my concern over whether I would get the items. I had filed a dispute with PayPal, but I actually did receive them yesterday. Patricia is correct. They look “similar” to the real thing, but a cheap imitation at best. As they are very short, not really useable if you planned for a place setting. They would work fine as novelty spreaders or appetizer utensils and the spoons would work as demitasse spoons. I’m inclined to return, but concerned whether I’ll end up with no product and no refund

  5. I had previously posted about not having received my order. It did finally arrive yesterday. Patricia is right about the quality. They looks somewhat “similar” to the pictures and are small. Do not expect dinner sized utensils. They are novel and would be usable for appetizers, spreads and desserts. Not yet sure I’ll return, but given my experience I am a bit concerned that I might end up with no utensils and no refund. If you’re interested in buying them, make sure you buy them for the cheapest price you can find.
