No, it’s not a really long spoon. No, it’s not a spork. It’s a titanium folding spoon. Why? Because a folding spoon can fit in those small places like your tiny cook pot and it’s super light and super handy. It’s cutlery that does the job but doesn’t take up all the space. It’s a handy flatware.
GADIEMKENSD makes a 100% titanium folding spoon that unfolded is 53mm long and 40mm wide.
Folded it’s 80mm and it always weighs 18g.
This convenient little spoon tucked away it your hiking cook kit is a life saver. Too many times we seen people with melted plastic sporks wishing they had this spoon.

‘Rething’ by Anastasia Starostina creates a fusion of forms based on their functions and does it with amazing flair. It’s not often here at The Cutlery Review that we feature flatware that is not in production for sale but this design is so elegant we really want to show it to our readers.
It’s the fine folks at YankoDesign.com that brought this work to our attention:
“The abstraction of each of the objects has stretched the limitations of their initial potential”, says Anastasia Starostina, a Russia-based industrial designer.
“The different cutlery units cover a wide range of cuisines. The knife exists as an independent piece, and can be paired along with the other cutlery sets, allowing you to effectively cut and portion your meals. The three other cutlery pieces cover ranges of cuisine from Asian styles (with the spoon and the chopsticks) to Continental (spoon + fork) and even a third spoon/shaver hybrid for garnishes and embellishments like cheeses, truffles, and sauces.”

It’s Spring for real this time, the sun is out! And it’s time to go outside and enjoy the sunshine and wildlife. And eat! And you need cutlery to cook and eat when you are camping, hiking or picnicking. And the thing about camping cutlery is that is makes for great Bring Your Own Cutlery (BYOC) as well!
“Outdoor Edge” brings us the “Chow Mealtime Multitool” which isn’t three pieces like in the photo, that’s the three transformations it can do. It’s a nested fork and folding knife/spoon, can and bottle opener, flathead screwdriver, and wrench. Made of sturdy 420J2 stainless steel and weighing only 2.4 ounces this is a one pocket camp utensil. The nested fork & folding knife/spoon lock together, but quickly and easily slide apart when you’re ready to chow down. The knife locks when in the open position and the nylon storage pouch is included.
Remember that you can’t board a plane with this one!

A rather interestingly named “The Muncher” from “Full Windsor” is a multitool camping utensil like you’ve never seen before. Made of titanium and weighing only 0.8 ounces this little sucker (6.5 x 1.4 x 0.25 inches actually) does it all:
- Serrated butter knife
- Can opener
- Bottle opener
- Fire starter
- Cord cutter
- Box cutter
- Flathead screwdriver
And a plastic carrying pouch made from recycled plastic bottles. This is fancy camping flatware. The Spork to rule them all?
