Babish has a Tiny Whisk and he’s proud of it. We’ve talked about Babish and his Tiny Whisk before here at The Cutlery Review. And now he’s talking about it again with NYT Cooking in the video “10 Things Binging With Babish Can’t Cook Without” which is shown above. It’s that time of year to start your holiday baking! And what baking and most cooking really needs is a really good set of measuring spoons. Now, we are big fans of America’s Test Kitchen and they recently declared that the Cuisipro Stainless Steel Measuring Spoon Set was their favorite.

It’s that time of year to carve up the bird. And you really do need a good fork to do that. Now Chef’s forks just don’t seem to have the sharp pointed tip and curve that the classic American carving fork has. And that you need!

Plating Spoons from Mercer Culinary

We have been reading a lot of books lately here at the Cutlery Review, mostly Chef biographies. And we always note when they talk about what equipment they take to a kitchen. The infamous knife roll is of course expected but the “Spoon Roll” was a new one for us. If you are doing any plating or saucing you need a decent spoon or two.
