Teak Wood Noodle Soup Ramen Spoons

Our last post we talked about using a Spork for eating Ramen. And we talked about it in the context of instant Ramen, but if you are going to eat a proper bowl of Ramen noodles then you should use the proper cutlery. Wooden chopsticks are a given but what about the spoon? How about something other than the traditional plastic spoon?

From “Teako”, these Teak Wood soup spoons are high end flatware. Hand carved from natural sustainable teak wood, this is a environmentally friendly product. Ah Ramen, not sure which I’ve eaten more of: Ramen or Kraft Cheese and Macaroni? Ramen in instant form is the perfect food for when you don’t want to cook and really aren’t too fussy about what you are going to eat. In College I lived off the stuff. It is a two piece of flatware meal, you need both fork for the noodles and spoon for the broth (lest you slurp from the bowl). Chopsticks don’t cut it at all in my humble opinion.

In comes this wonderful piece of cutlery that I would classify as a Foon from the Museum of Modern Art. The Ramen Fork/Spoon is made from stainless steel and will handle all your Ramen eating needs. Made of dish-washer safe stainless steel it is 7 3/4″ long x 2″ wide x 1 1/2″ diameter.

Artwork for Kitchen or Restaurant – Part Two

I have heard feedback that some of our readers come here looking for Cutlery themed artwork to decorate their kitchen or new restaurant. Finding flatware themed wall hanging art is a little difficult to find. So this week we are going to post about a couple of pieces that look pretty good to me. And here’s the second one.

From Stupell the “Home Retro Look Fork Spoon Rectangle Kitchen Wall Plaque” has got a pretty long title for a pretty good priced piece of cutlery artwork. This fork and spoon is a high quality lithograph of sturdy half-inch thick MDF fiberboard. It is 15 x 11 inches in size and would be a perfect for a smaller kitchen or dining room.

Artwork for Kitchen or Restaurant – Part One

The first is “Head West Canvas Art, On the Table” which has a classic art style named if I’ve ever heard one. This fork, knife and spoon is three separate 1.5 inch deep digitally printed canvas that each measure 8 x 20 inches. I believe that`s called a triptych?

PS – The title listing on Amazon says “Set of 2” but you do get three pieces according to a purchaser.
